A Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur hospital visit

Well I was on Medical Leave yesterday due to bone pain, fever, headache and stomach ache. Yea, it's a whooper, and I could literally eat a whooper burger.

Anyway, I went to the hospital first to see a gastroenterologist at Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, who recommended me to do a CT scan in the hope of finding something awesomesausage. Now we hear a lot of people talking about CT Scan, but what does it mean? CT Scan is an abbreviation for Computer Tomography Scan. It takes 'slices' of your body and details it in an x-ray. Of course, they'd need 'contrast' to divide your flesh from the targeted areas, but let's talk about that later.

As I arrived at the entrance I basically don't know where I should even start. The 'registration' counter is very... how should I say, secluded? Yep. Well, luckily for me I have bionic eyes so I went and register myself, which took an hour. My fully-charged (did I mention that I have an Incredible Ass *clears throat* S?) phone went to 15% as I was playing an awesome game called 'Zombie Road Trip' while waiting :(

Finally it's my turn and fortunately the person in charge has a very fast mouth. She explained details very quickly and clearly. Then, another 1/2 hour of waiting... before proceeding to take my blood sample. The 'Injector' was skilled, though couldn't get my blood. Yea, I have a history of my blood hating to leave my body. My blood loves me <3

Afterwards is 2 grueling hours of waiting. For real. They need to analyse my blood FIRST before sending me off to the CT Scan I wonder why. At the time it was already 1330 hours and I am dying of hunger. My mom prompted my dad to go poke them and they finally decided to take me to the scan. Right, here comes the fun part. So I earlier mentioned 'contrast' right? In this case it's a yellow liquid that I have to drink so my insides can 'glow' for the imaging. This time around, they want my whole abdomen to be scanned. The nurse was explaining all the details including drinking contrast, being injected into my blood... when I heard an 'interesting' word... very interesting indeed.

For those of you who watch too much porn you probably know what enema is. I was like 'omigosh' when she mentioned they're gonna pump my arse with contrast so the machine can 'scan' me better. Pfft. Whatever. Off I went to get changed to the gimp sui- err, hospital attire. I was then given 3 cups of contrast to drink, which smelled like diluted paint. I must say. It was fu-chuking cold in the area. It was terrible!

Off to the next pit-stop I go and this time it's the real deal. Do you know what a CT Scan Machine looks like? It looks like those time-travel machine where you lay down and a round thingie warps you to another place. Here you go. > CT Scan Machine

The nurse gave me another cuppa contrast to drink and asked me to lie down. 'Link'ing me with the contrast machine, she asked me to turn sideways. Sheet literally got real. I would spare you the details but it's a very nice feeling. I can feel my intestines expanding with lukewarm liquid and travelling in me. Perhaps this is what makes enema fun (the hurting part comes later). Anyway, after no plugs, I was asked to lie down straight. It begins.

The procedure took around 15-20 minutes or so with multiple automated 'please breath in and hold' and 'you may breathe now' sequences. I went through the machine and I was teleported to... nowhere sadly. There was a long pause between the second last one and the last one, where I can feel liquid RUSHING VIOLENTLY into my bladder which FORTUNATELY HAD AN EXTRA COMPARTMENT. Not. Yea I can feel water rushing into my bladder at a violent rate, and it expanded so much it didn't want to expand any more. As for my other hole, no leakages ;) I'm a pro, but of course wanted to come out several times. Damn, I'm too detailed.

So after its done I rushed to the toilet, but I'll skip that part. I changed my clothes and waited to check-in to my room. It was 1530 now, and you can already feel how hungry I am because I haven't had anything yet. Ahh, food at last! Me and my parents went to Dome, a restaurant that has been there for ages. A very delicious and awesome restaurant if I do say so myself. You can't complain about several blunders every now and then, because the staff are trained very well to serve you. Even if they don't, the food will serve your stomach. Or vice versa. This time maybe they forgot but they left out our cutlery. The previous time the potatoes served didn't have any taste at all (in which they replaced, which was fine and dandy). But the food here is awesome. Try their Salmon Steak if you're a fish fan.

Anyways it was check in time! The attendant brought us up to my room, which is the 7th and most highest floor. o___o I was thinking 'are you sure this is our floor?' She brought us to the room, and I just love the colourful carpet. It's very vivid and pleasing to the eyes. I'm sharing my room with one other guy, which we prayed for his recovery from dengue. He was a very lovely guy, very friendly and nice to talk to. Oh yea, also, there is security guards outside of the lift before anyone enters the patient suites, so I feel secured and like a VIP hahaha.

Pictures~

Oh and the outside view is good.

Alright! The rest as they say, is history. See ya for nao~
