Restaurant Murni Discovery

Well I'm not going to talk about the location because Murni Discovery is scattered here and there.

Here's a LINK to see where's the nearest Murni Discovery to you.

Anyway, this place is awesome! Ok, where to start...

First thing up is their portion. Be sure to bring a friend along if you're going to order certain dishes on their menu, for example their Mee Raja. I seriously laughed (nah I'm not that bad) at the poor, unsuspecting lady at the nearby table as the plate was brought to her table. Her face was literally saying 'wtfisthismountain'. I'll try it and see if I can gorge it down the next time I go there :3 But the dish I ate was Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice! :) It's RM15, which is DEFINITELY affordable for the portion they're about to slap me with.

By the way, I've already eaten a portion of it if it looks small :)

Crabby!

So how did it taste? Exquisitely good, especially the crab. The portion? A crabload! They gave me 3 pieces of fist-sized soft shell crab, an almost 1 1/2 bowls of fried rice (laced with many crab sticks, squid slices and prawns), and french fries (which was awesomely crispy). For dipping sauce I had black pepper and chilli. Even me, for a heavy eater, was dreading to finish the whole plate. I gave up when I reached them fries :P I gave half of em to my friend.

For light eaters you can always opt for their flying bread (Roti Canai hahaha), unleavened flatbread (Chapati), or their kandar rice which you can self-service and take as per your gastronomical needs. If you're having kandar, be sure to have their pandan roast chicken. It's drumstick-lickin-awesome.

A thick concoction of sirap bandung or milk + rose syrup. Now that's what I call quality!

It's an overall 'quality discount' shop if I may call it. The restaurant serves heavy meals at a light price. That means more fill for the tummy, and less wings from your wallet/purse! :) Awesomesausageness!

"C... can I have some?"
