Cardcaptor Sakura
Never expected me to blog about this eh :P Yea, this anime series is ancient but it's one of the first animes I watched when I was a child, so as they say, don't forget your roots. (What has roots got to do with this xD)
Anyway as info, I was totally obsessed over Kinomoto Sakura (the main character) when I was young. I even printed a cute picture of her to paste it on my transparent file folder which I carry around, so I was famous in high-school for that hahaha (I only started watching anime when I moved to high-school).
I even have small figurines of her on the third floor of my house, feel free to visit :P
Enough about me, let's go into the anime. Before that, please be informed that there will be spoilers so reader discretion is advised lol.
This anime revolves around a young girl named Kinomoto Sakura, which one day opened an ancient book of spells which contained magical 'Clow Cards'. Clow was a famous magician which created powerful cards which he can use. Here's the card list :P
Anyway, the 'guardian' of the book appeared, Keroberus...
...and asked her to collect all of them again because she was the one responsible for scattering it. (Because all the cards in the book flew away magically like pew pew pew)
So there begins her journey to collect all of the cards. She met Syaoran, which wanted the cards for himself, but there begins a love story sooner or later lol.
The whole anime comprises 70 episodes with 3 different seasons. I basically memorised the lyrics of all 6 of the openings and endings of the anime, including 2 from the additional movies (They have 2 movies too for the record) PLUS a few character songs and Christmas songs (YES! They have CHRISTMAS SONGS and it's wonderful).
From the time spent of me being obsessed with her, you can probably guess what I'm gonna rate it. It's a very good magical-girl genre anime to watch if you're a child and who doesn't like magic and magic circles?
Sneak peek into what Anime I'm gonna talk about next. Credits go to the artist! Thanks for merging two awesome Mahou Shojos (Magical Girls) together in one pic :)

Restaurant Murni Discovery
Well I'm not going to talk about the location because Murni Discovery is scattered here and there.
Here's a LINK to see where's the nearest Murni Discovery to you.
Anyway, this place is awesome! Ok, where to start...
First thing up is their portion. Be sure to bring a friend along if you're going to order certain dishes on their menu, for example their Mee Raja. I seriously laughed (nah I'm not that bad) at the poor, unsuspecting lady at the nearby table as the plate was brought to her table. Her face was literally saying 'wtfisthismountain'. I'll try it and see if I can gorge it down the next time I go there :3 But the dish I ate was Soft Shell Crab Fried Rice! :) It's RM15, which is DEFINITELY affordable for the portion they're about to slap me with.
So how did it taste? Exquisitely good, especially the crab. The portion? A crabload! They gave me 3 pieces of fist-sized soft shell crab, an almost 1 1/2 bowls of fried rice (laced with many crab sticks, squid slices and prawns), and french fries (which was awesomely crispy). For dipping sauce I had black pepper and chilli. Even me, for a heavy eater, was dreading to finish the whole plate. I gave up when I reached them fries :P I gave half of em to my friend.
For light eaters you can always opt for their flying bread (Roti Canai hahaha), unleavened flatbread (Chapati), or their kandar rice which you can self-service and take as per your gastronomical needs. If you're having kandar, be sure to have their pandan roast chicken. It's drumstick-lickin-awesome.
It's an overall 'quality discount' shop if I may call it. The restaurant serves heavy meals at a light price. That means more fill for the tummy, and less wings from your wallet/purse! :) Awesomesausageness!
"C... can I have some?"

By the way, I've already eaten a portion of it if it looks small :)
Crabby!

A thick concoction of sirap bandung or milk + rose syrup. Now that's what I call quality!

Restaurant Pastry House
Restaurant Pastry House
Food, oh delicious foodz. This time around
I’m gonna write about a restaurant called ‘Pastry House Kuala Lumpur’.
Despite parking being hard to find, the
food here is extremely acceptable. The serve all sorts of morsels and chunks of
things that pretty match up to what you call ‘food’.
I went to this restaurant 3 times, and 2
out of 3 are good experiences. Taste their nachos and spaghetti, it’s good no
joke, especially if you’re a fan of duck. Cuz they serve duck spaghetti! :D I
love it, and I’m sure you’ll like it. Quacker quackem. Go quacker go… and
stuff.
But do not EVERRRRRRRRRRRR taste their
Chicken Gordon Bleu. It tastes like what Gordon’s chicken blew out of its… err,
you get the idea. I mean SERIOUSLY =__= worse dish I have eaten in my whole
entire life. It’s like, total ugh-ness. I think they replaced cheese with snot,
and I forced myself to eat the whole thing… seriously not a good experience.
Their soup is GOOD. Check out their… onion
soup, and cream of mushroom, if you’re a fan of those two. You can also opt for
pastries, which they sell it at discounted prices at times (hopefully not
because it’s on the verge of going bad).
The restaurant rating for me is overall
5/10. Their restaurant concept is good, but food still needs improving.

Girls und Panzer anime
That's right, it's tank time! Introducing Girls und Panzer! This is the first anime that I'm blogging about because it's the best anime I've seen so far. I seriously re-watched this anime 5 times and still willing to do it again! But don't put your expectations too high I suppose, because I'm me, and you're you. Tastebuds, y'know? ;)
Now Girls und Panzer is set in a world where
cities are built on giant airplane carriers! O___O I was like 'what the...' when they zoomed out of the city to reveal an aircraft carrier.
Anyway, the story
revolves around Nishizumi Miho, who transferred to Oarai Girls
Academy for a reason. Oh,
what reason you ask? Well, she's from a family and school with a long history
of doing sensha-do/panzerfahren (a.k.a a school club that practices the 'way of
the tank'). Her family's school is called Kuromorimine (long word I know
o___-"), which is headed by her mom, and has her sister as the captain of
the club. That school is basically the 'elites' of the world, which has won
many tournaments throughout the years.
You see, while her
family's school practices iron-willed, do-or-die, strike-fast-and-end-it
mentality, but she's the person that has slow-and-steady, leave-no-girl-behind
attitude.
Because she's been
told off by her mother because Miho costed the team , Miho decided to run away
from the school because she got scared of doing sensha-do. Oarai Girls
Academy on the other
hand, is the only school without a sensha-do club, so TA-DA! This is where she
transferred...
Until she came along :P
Kadotani Anzu is the president of the student's council. She barged into Miho's classroom and asked her to join their sensha-do club which is about to start up again xD
Priceless expression! xD
Soooooooo after a few dramas, Miho reluctantly joins the school's club. The anime from then on all goes uphill :D
Over the course of a few battles, Miho was eventually promoted to the captain of Oorai Girl Academy's captain because she's just too damn talented.
"Praise me~ Praise me more~"
Of course, being in a tank club means that there's more than one person. It only started off with a few people because it's new, but as time went by, it only got merrier.
The team, plus the captains and sub-captains of the other schools.
And here's the best part. Because their school is low on funds, they sold off all the sellable tanks... leaving only the worst/useless ones behind. The first official battle started with an imbalanced amount of tanks, and their enemies laughed at them... xD Bad move.
I did not know what crap I spurted on top but let's go hyper! :D The theme and plot of this anime is awesome and inspiring, with a dash of humour and a loadful of cuteness. In this anime you can get to see puny tanks beat up bigger ones, and the strategy is always witty and fun to watch.
Me: I'll name it operation 'kawaii'.
My team: Let's show some skin~
And some hnnng expressions :P
Enemy: "Jeezuz you're too cute to shoot at!"
Enemy: "We're braking down cuz of cuteness!"
I guess we got them.
*ahem* Enough of my short story.
Anyway! Since I have spare time I'll introduce to you the main team.
Nishizumi Miho
I intro'ed to you about her so :P
Takebe Saori
A really go-getter girl, she's always the cheerfulness of the team. Her bright personality always lights up the mood and she's a bit of a tomboy xD
Isuzu Hana
Hana's a very lady-like girl who belongs to a family with a long history of flower-arranging. Her delicate flower-arranging skills gives her the precision and elegance she needs as an accurate gunner.
Akiyama Yukari
This girl is a tank-fanatic! xD She is often shy, but once she gets a hold of tanks she'll go ballistically insane! The picture below says all xD
Reizei Mako
This low-blooded girl is always sleeping any time she gets a chance to. She has serious difficulty waking up in the morning, and loves her only family member - her grandmother. She's a top-grade student in the school, and with her psychotic ability to memorise anything in a flash, she started riding the tank like a pro with just a glance through the manual.
"Don't you want some of me? Well, then. Watch Girls und Panzer today."
This anime is very well executed. Well done I say to the producers, because even tank model name, shape and historical battles were scrutinised in making this anime as perfect as possible. One more thing is the climax. perfectly executed! 10/10 for my moe tastes.
See ya!
About the Animes I watch
An introduction to what type of anime you
can find on my blog.
Well let me first introduce what kinds of
anime I like. Cute, happy, moe, funny, slice-of-life ones!
Ari-chan says hi!
It’s what keeps me
going, whether it’s at work, in the middle of a jam, or otherwise. The opening
and ending themes are also happy-sounding in tune, or calm and relaxing, so
it’ll really help if I’m driving and feeling sleepy suddenly, or at work and
need more brain juice to concentrate.
For your information, I don’t really watch
anime that has 1) Heckofalottaepisodes 2) Neverending story 3) Fighting
needlessly 4) Too mainstream. So I guess you can’t find animes like Naruto,
Bleach, and One Piece on my blog, sorreh :P
Also, I will state it now that all images posted here belongs to the respective author / company if Copyrighted, any by no means belong to me (except pictures taken by me, because I like to buy DVDs and watch them from my 62" TV xD)
"Thank you onii-chan for featuring me on your first page!"
It doesn't get any better than that. xD
Adios!

Valkyrie Crusade - An exciting phone game
Sooooooooooooooooooo who likes games? :) Well, this time around I'm going to introduce a game I found that proves to be quite interesting, challenging, and cute - all at the same time! For those who loves a pure-girl card game on your phone, Valkyrie Crusade is just the thing.
Now what's so special about the game? Well, one could say that it's really in-depth. You control everything. From the resources that will build up your city, to the soldiers that your hero card will carry (which acts like 'Health Points') - everything is under your control. So let's learn how to play! :)
Yes, you get seashells and more! Even a crab. But watch out for her snippers. She'll 'snip it off', a quote from her. IDK what that means though :P
Anyway, like I said you have a city of your own. From scratch, you get to build up your city. How? By collecting resources. Now resources is divided into 3 - gold, ether and iron. Each of them is important because you need a combo of resources to build and level up buildings. Also with resources, you can purchase soldiers so that your 'hero card' doesn't die. (If it dies though, don't worry, you still get it back at the end of the battle, only with 1 soldier)
Now you must be eager to see what the cards look like. Well, cute, sexy, beautiful, lustful, spooky, drop-dead-gorgeous and indescribable girls are available. But before we go into pictures let's find out how the system works. Now, you start with a set of cards. From that set of cards, you hunt for new ones, getting cards along the way via chance or battle. Of course, the game has a system of card rarity, so the rarer the card, the harder it is to get, but higher the MAX attack/defense/soldiers.
You can fuse two of the same type of cards together to get a stronger version of the card. Some cards can be fused to up to 4 times, so you can have an even greater force! :)
Also, you start with a maximum of 3 cards in your battle team. You can later upgrade it so that you can have a maximum of 5 cards.
So here's the battle screen. This is my 2nd team, and I'm leveling them up. You can see star-shaped icons right? Those are skill :D After each round, there's a set probability that your cards will unleash their skill. If they want to use a skill, then a star will appear on their card. It's up to you whether to initiate the skill now or later, depending on the situation.
Now to get a better picture of your card! :) See the blue icicle on the top left? It's the card element.
Basically there's 4 elements in this game: Ice, Fire, Light, and Dark. Ice and fire are strong against each other, while light and dark does the same. That means if you're an ice card attacking a fire card, you get bonus damage, but if it attacks you, you get extra damage too.
The 'R' beside the blue icicle is the rarity.
N: Normal
HN: High Normal
R: Rare
HR: High Rare
SR: Super Rare
HSR: High Super Rare
etc. :)
If you see closely you'll notice a silver star at the right side of the blue icicle. That's the amount of possible upgrades the card can have by fusing the card with another same card. If it's upgraded, the star will turn yellow, and if all the stars are filled, the 'R' card will turn to 'HR'.
What's good about upgrading cards is not only because you get better stats, but a slight change in the girl's image! :)
Right side of the image is the level, and bottom left is the cost of the card. Now you have a specified 'limit' that you will have to balance out. For higher ranking cards, the cost is more, so you will have to upgrade your limit (can be done by buying a structure) if you want to get nicer cards in your team.
Bottom right is the name, followed by the current amount of soldiers the card is carrying.
Are you blur yet? Good, either way, we're going to move on xD
Right side of the picture, under Udine
You can see 1 / 40. That's the current level / maximum level. For this card, the maximum level upgrades to level 50 if the card is upgraded to High Rare.
Attack, Defense and Soldiers depends on level. As you level up, all 3 of these goes up, so you will have an even more powerful card!
The rest of the picture is self-explainable :P
Ok, to cleanse your eyes from the impossibru-to-finish text, here's a little eye candy on the many girls VC offers!
Of course, they're other more sexier ones, but I'm scared that your keyboard will short circuit due to blood from your nose :P
Besides cards, Alliances are also available! :) Let your friend join you in taking a very powerful boss called an 'Arch Witch' down. So rack up your friends, start an alliance (or apply for an active one like mine, Omnipotence) and mow down those Arch Witches for rare prizes and more!
Best part is that it's completely free! You can progress fully without paying! But of course, if you want more power... *ebil laugh*

Yoo hoo? Are you there? Ahh, came back from fantasy world I see :D
One more nice feature about the game is that your card has a 'friendship' system. If it reaches max friendship, that card will spam out its skills more, among other stuff. So treat your cards nicely! ;)
